What is a Jaycee?
A Jaycee is a member of Junior Chamber International (JCI), the world’s greatest organization for young professionals between the ages of 18-40. They are volunteers, business owners, and community leaders joined together in one cause, service to humanity.
JCI provides opportunities to develop leadership and professional skills through community service.
JCI offers a vast array of trainings for members, gives them the tools they need to manage projects that will benefit the community, allows them to network professionally and learn skills that will help them further advance their careers, and engages members through fun social events.
The Allegan Jaycees are one chapter within JCI.
There are chapters across the state, country, and world. JCI is an organization with chapters in 144 nations, and the only non-profit organization allowed to use the UN Logo.
